Analytics

Every explanation request is recorded so you can see how readers use the widget. Two places surface it: the Overview tab (a quick pulse) and the Analytics tab (the full breakdown).

Metrics #

  • Explanations: total requests over the selected range.
  • Success rate: share that returned an explanation, with blocked and error counts.
  • Average latency: typical time to produce an explanation.
  • Today vs quota: how much of today's daily limit has been used.

Charts #

  • Explanations per day: a bar for every day in the range, so the trend is always a full axis (even days with zero activity). Hover any bar for the exact breakdown.
  • Most-explained selections: the snippets readers asked about most. A great signal for what's confusing on your page.
  • Recent activity: a live, paginated feed of the latest events (status, snippet, origin, time). Use Load more to page back through history.

Ranges and time #

Pick 7 / 14 / 30 / 90 days in the Analytics tab. All days are bucketed by UTC calendar date, so the chart's axis and your totals always line up.

Where the data comes from

Counts are read straight from the database for the selected site, no sampling. "Today" means since midnight UTC.
